This unique artwork is the only one of it’s kind. It has been designed entirely by hand to have a delicate and elegant appearance yet remains sturdy and robust in construction.
The bird and buck are made out of 100% hand-dyed Merino wool, thereby naturally adding to the authenticity of the woollen characters’ darker tones to create the impression of form and texture. The characters’ eyes are polished stone with a smokey blue/grey hue. Other details within the piece add to its authenticity through a variety of mediums in air-drying and polymer clays that have been coated with a wide variety of artistic mediums and acrylic paints. The semi-rigidity and flexibility that results, culminates towards a highly detailed and textured surface that welcomes not only a viewer’s gaze but their touch as well.
