This unique artwork is the only one of it’s kind, with no possibility of copies being made. It has been constructed entirely by hand to have a delicate and elegant appearance but is actually sturdy and robust in nature and will transport with relative ease.
The elephant and bunny are made out of 100% hand-dyed, Merino wool. This imperfect coloration adds to the authenticity of the woolen characters’ tones to create the impression of form and texture. The bunny’s eyes are made from polished stone with a smokey blue/grey color. Other details within the piece are made from various air-drying and polymer clays, coated with a wide variety of artistic mediums and acrylic paints to create a highly detailed and textured surface that is not just stunning to look at but also luxurious to touch.
The individual blades of grass can be bent all the way back and will instantaneously snap back into place, as they have a rubber-like quality. Flecks of silver, metallic paint cling to the individual blades of grass creating the impression of dew drops in the early morning, adding to the mysterious nature of the artwork.
The pyramid structure enclosing the piece has a very smooth and shiny surface that will reflect light beautifully and entice the viewer to enjoy the piece, both, visually and tangibly.
