Description
This unique artwork is the only one of its kind as it has been constructed entirely by hand.
The elephant and bunny are made out of 100% hand-dyed, Merino wool. The bunny’s eyes are polished stone with a smokey blue/grey hue. Other details within the piece are made from various air-drying and polymer clays, coated with a wide variety of artistic mediums and acrylic paints to create a highly detailed and textured surface.
The individual blades of grass are flexible and have a rubbery composition. Flecks of silver, metallic paint cling to the individual blades of grass almost hinting at the presence of dew drops and adding to the mysterious nature of the artwork.
The pyramid structure enclosing the piece is smooth and glossy, with a semi-reflective property towards a strong light source.
